1. Your account
You must be 16+ to use SnapSplit. Keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity in your account.
2. What SnapSplit does
We provide tools to scan receipts, split items, and track who owes whom. We don't process payments, settle-ups happen through external services like Interac e-Transfer.
3. Acceptable use
Don't upload content that isn't yours, doesn't belong to your group, or that's unlawful. Don't try to reverse-engineer the app or abuse the AI.
4. Pro subscriptions
Pro is billed monthly or annually through the App Store. Cancel anytime. Refunds are handled per App Store policy.
5. Free tier
Scanning, splitting, and settling are free. We may rate-limit obviously abusive volumes.
6. Disclaimers
SnapSplit is provided 'as is.' OCR is best-effort, always verify totals before settling. We are not a financial institution and don't guarantee third-party payment outcomes.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapSplit isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is capped at fees paid in the prior 12 months.
8. Termination
You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
